      Budgeting for Outcomes

      The Budgeting for Outcomes (BFO) process is based on collaboration, transparency, and efficiency. The process ensures the City delivers the services that matter most to citizens.

      T he City of Chattanooga is relentlessly focused on the priorities of our residents: safer streets, stronger neighborhoods, a growing economy, smarter students & stronger families, and a high performing government. These priorities have been elevated with an eye toward effectiveness and, through the innovative BFO process, we ensure each dollar is justified based on how it delivers results to constituents.

          The Tivoli Theatre Foundation

          In 2015, Mayor Andy Berke created an independent non-profit called The Tivoli Theatre Foundation to lead, manage, and maximize programming at two City-owned historic sites – Tivoli Theatre and Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium.

          Since the foundation was established, the Tivoli Theatre & Memorial Auditorium have tripled their revenue for shows as well as increased the number of events at each location.

          Interactive Services Map

          The Public Works department provides citizens with real-time tracking maps for garbage collection, leaf collection, recycling collection, street sweeping and snow/ice treatment. These maps make it easy to see your day of service as well as the current location of the public works vehicle. The Interactive Service Maps have been especially useful during inclement weather, by providing citizens with a way to easily determine which streets are safe to travel.

    Model Health

    describes the quality of the predictive model. If the model health is poor, the trend prediction should not be trusted.
